The Record

Every selection below was issued before its race was run. A play counts as a winner only when the payoff cleared our value floor — a horse that won at short odds is recorded as a miss even where money came back. The discipline is counted honestly, not flattered.

The floor holds on a cold day

Forty percent is a modest hit rate — and both cards still finished green on both days. Saturday was the stress test: a cold thirty-percent afternoon, and Tier I cleared it while Tier II held a profit. That is the whole thesis in a single weekend — the win rate need not be high when the winners pay and the structure multiplies.

Friday’s Ellis Park alone — a $35.20 winner into a $769 exacta — carried every losing race across both days.

Why we sell weekends, not days

Friday’s three winners all paid barely over the floor — $15.80, $14.80, $12.20. Enough to keep the win bets green; not enough to carry the exacta ladder. Tier II finished Friday at −19.5%.

Saturday the same architecture met a $27.00 and a $27.94. The exactas returned $1,181 against $420 laid out. Tier II finished Saturday at +176.0%.

A subscriber who bought Friday alone would have been disappointed. One who bought the weekend took +$746.70. A weak day and a strong day are two halves of one position — not two verdicts.

The other face of the same coin

A third of the plays won — and Tier II still returned better than double what it cost, carried by a $48.66 bomb in the Grade 1 Belmont Oaks. Weekend Two hit at nearly seventy percent on shorter prices and returned nearly as much.

Two very different weekends. Both profitable. That is what the method is built to do.

How each figure is built Every play is priced the same way, so you can see exactly how the money goes down. Tier I is three $2 win bets per race — $6 a race — plus a $2 place bet on any selection going off at 20‑1 or higher. Tier II keeps those win bets and adds the exacta, built on a $1 basis — $66 a race. On a winning row, the exacta reads as the number of winning $1 combinations × the $1 payoff = the total returned — so “6 × $22.50” is six winning dollar combinations at $22.50 apiece, $135.00 back. Figures are reference units; you size to your own comfort. Two Weekend One races were postponed to Sunday by track scheduling and are shown on the Friday card where they were selected. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Must be 21 or older.
